The fest was founded in 1996 by Fred Andrews because Kansas City had an active and growing filmmaking community. in 2018, that community has grown even larger thanks to many local filmmakers including Patrick Rae and Savannah Rodgers. Both join us in this episode to talk about their films that will be featured during this year's filmfest. Savannah directed The Dragtivisits and Patrick's latest film is Belong to Us, which Savannah worked on as well.
